Malfunction
Problem
Water is leaking out
("appliance leaking").
Appliance is unsteady
or vibrating strongly.
Spin cycle is not run-
ning or is slow.
During the wash cycle,
no water can be seen
in the drum through the
glass panel.
The appliance door
cannot be opened af-
ter the wash cycle has
finished.

The cycle duration dis-
played differs from the
actual duration of the
cycle.
Possible causes
Inlet or outlet hose is not screwed
on tightly enough.
Lint trap not closed properly.
Transport security device(s) was/
were not removed.
Appliance was not installed or
aligned properly.
The laundry in the drum is very
heavy or distributed unevenly.
The imbalance correction system
for imbalanced drum loads is run-
ning.
This is not an error. The water is at
the bottom of the drum.
This is not an error. The opening
mechanism contains a safety de-
vice that keeps the door closed an-
other 2 minutes or so after the wash
cycle has finished.
Too much water in the appliance.
This is not an error. The cycle du-
ration is always adapted to the cir-
cumstances and re-calculated.

Screw the inlet or outlet hose down
tighter.
Close lint trap properly (see
page EN-30).
Remove the transport safety de-
vice(s) (see page EN-32).
Install or align appliance properly.
Cancel the washing process and
then restart to distribute laundry
more evenly.
No error. Once the laundry is dis-
tributed evenly, the spin cycle starts
automatically.
Press the button (8) to switch the
appliance off. Wait a few minutes
and then open the door.
Pump out the water (see
page EN-23).
Switch the appliance off after the
water has been pumped out and
pull out the plug. Close the tap and
contact the service department
(see page EN-41).
