Emissivity Values

The emissivity of a surface depends on the material, texture, wavelength and temperature. The following emissivity
values represent rough guidelines under ideal measuring conditions and for the wavelength range of the IR tempera-
ture sensor. We recommend setting the exact emissivity of the target object under actual measuring conditions. For
more detailed information refer to Section 11.1 Setting the Emissivity on page 23.
