Bei einer Zwischenflanschbefestigung (DIN 55026) die
Schrauben (Pos. 27) lösen und den Deckel (Pos. 2) entfernen.
Bei ROTA-G 500 und 630 zusätzlich die Schrauben (Pos. 22)
demontieren.
Bei einer Bajonett- (DIN 55027) oder Camlock be festigung
(DIN 55029) die Schrauben (Pos. 21 und 27) lösen und
Flansch demontieren.
Bitte beachten Sie entsprechende Sicherheits-
vorkehrungen beim Transport und Handling
von Futter mit großem Gewicht!
Das Futter auf die Vorderseite legen. Den Treibring (Pos. 3),
die Gleitsteine (Pos. 7) und die Keilstangen ohne Gewinde
(Pos. 6) aus dem Futter nehmen. Danach den Anzeigestift mit
Druckfeder (Pos. 12) und die Federn in der Rast stift bohrung
entfernen. Zusätzlich bei ROTA-G 315 bis 630: Gewindestift
(Pos. 41) herausschrauben und Feder (Pos. 42) und 2.
Raststift (Pos. 43) herausnehmen.
Drehen Sie mit dem Spannschlüssel (Pos. 16) die Spindel
(Pos. 10) solange nach rechts, bis die Keil stange mit Gewinde
(Pos. 5) den Anschlag des Futterkörpers (bei Größe 160 bis
315) oder den Anschlag des Druckrings (Pos. 13, bei Größe
400 bis 630) erreicht hat.
Zum Entfernen des Zylinderstiftes nach DIN 7979 (Pos. 19)
bei ROTA-G 160 eine Zylinderschraube M 3 (Länge ca. 20
mm) in den Zylinderstift einschrauben. Ab der Baugröße
ROTA-G 200 eine Zylinderschraube M 4 (Länge ca.
20 mm) in den Zylinderstift ein schrauben. Den Zylinderstift
(Pos. 19) mit einer Flach zange herausziehen.
Dann die Einstellschraube mit Lagerschale (Pos. 11) mit einem
geeigneten Schlüssel lösen und aus dem Futter entfernen.
Die Spindel (Pos. 10) und die eingeschraubte Keil stange (Pos.
5) in Richtung Einstellschraubenbohrung des Futter körpers
(Pos. 1) verschieben und aus dem Futterkörper nehmen.
Keilstange (Pos. 5) aus der Spindel (Pos. 10) herausschrauben
und den Druckring (Pos. 13) heraus nehmen.
Mit einer Sprengringzange die Außensicherungsringe der
Raststifte (Pos. 15) entfernen (Sicherungsringe nicht zu
weit spreizen). Anschließend den Futter körper (Pos. 1) auf
seine Rückseite drehen und die Raststifte herausziehen. Die
Patronen (Pos. 14) aus dem Futterkörper entfernen.
Die Patronen (Pos. 14) sind eine Sicherheits-
einrichtung und dürfen niemals zerlegt wer-
den!
Festsitzende bzw. schwergängige Patronen
(Pos. 14) keinesfalls durch Gewalteinwirkung
gangbar machen! Patronen wie beschrieben
ausbauen und die gereinigten Patronen einölen
(nicht mit Futterfett einfetten!) und danach wie-
der montieren.
Keilstange ohne Gewinde Pos. 6 demontieren:
Zylinderstift (Pos. 4 - Bild 4) entfernen. Die Druckfeder
(Pos. 3 - Bild 4), sowie der Bolzen (Pos. 2 - Bild 4) können aus
der Keilstange (Pos. 1 - Bild 4) demontiert werden.
Reinigen Sie alle Teile sorgfältig mit einem Ent fettungsmittel
und prüfen Sie alle Teile auf Verschleiß und Beschädigung.
Beschädigte Teile nur
ersetzen!
Anschließend alle Einzelteile
Schmier fett (LINO MAX) einfetten.

In case of intermediate flange mounting (DIN 55026) loo-
sen the screws (Item 27) and remove the cover (Item 2). For
ROTA-G 500 and 630 additionally disassemble the screws
(Item 22).
In case of bajonett- (DIN 55027) or Camlock-mounting
(DIN 55029) loosen the screws (Item 21 and 27) and disas-
semble the flange.
Please note the safety regulations while trans-
porting and handling heavy chucks!
Put the chuck onto the face. Take the thrust ring (item 3),
the sliding stone (item 7) and the wedge bar without thread
(Item 6) out of the chuck. Then remove the safety indicating
pin with pressure spring (Item 12) and the springs from the
bore of the plunger pin. Additional for ROTA-G 315 to 630:
unscrew the set screw (item 41) and remove the spring
(Item 42) and 2 nd plunger pin (Item 43).
Turn the spindle (Item 10) to the right with the key (Item 16)
until the wedge bar with the thread (Item 5) has reached the
stop of the chuck body (for chuck sizes 160 to 315) or the stop
of the pressure ring (Item 13, for chuck sizes 400 to 630).
Screw in a cylinder screw M 3 (length appr. 20 mm) into the
cyl. pin for removing the cylinder pin as per DIN 7979 (Item 19)
of ROTA-G 160. From size ROTA-G 200 on, a cyl. screw M 4
(Length appr. 20 mm) has to be screwed into the cyl. pin. Tear
out the cyl. pin (Item 19) by means of flat pliers.
Then loosen the adjustment screw with bearing shell
(Item 11) with a suitable key and remove it from the chuck.
Move the spindle (Item 10) and the srewed in wedge bar (Item
5) in direction of the adjustment screw bore of the chuck body
(Item 1) and take out the chuck body. Screw the wedge bar
(Item 5) out of the spindle (Item 10) and take out the pressure
ring (Item 13).
Remove the outside safety rings of the plunger pins (Item 15)
with pliers for retaining rings (do not expand the safety rings
too far). Then turn the chuck body (Item 1) onto its rear side
and tear out the plunger pins. Remove the cartridges (Item 14)
from the chuck body.
The cartridge (Item 14) is a safety unit and never
should be disassembled!
Never loosen jammed or stiff cartridges
(Item 14) by using force! Remove cartridges as
described, then lubricate the cleaned cartridges
(do not grease with chuck grease!) and reinstall
afterwards.
Disassembly of wedge bar without thread Item 6:
Remove cyl. pin (Item 4 - illustr. 4). The pressure fields
(Item 3 - illustr. 4) as well as the pins (Item 2 - illustr. 4) may be
removed from the wedge bar (Item 1 - illustr. 4).
Thoroughly clean the components with degreasing agent and
check all components on wear and damage.
Damaged components have to be replaced by original
SCHUNK spare parts!
Then lubrify all components with a suitable grease (LINO
MAX).
