Radiation safety

The EZ2 has a UV LED lamp. The wavelength of the UV light produced by the UV LED lamp is
270 to 285 nm. This wavelength corresponds to ultraviolet light type C, which can be used
for decontamination procedures. A mechanical lock ensures that the hood must be closed for
operation of the UV LED. If the hood sensor or lock is not functioning correctly, contact
QIAGEN Technical Services.

Avoid looking directly into UV light. Do not expose your skin to
UV light.
