Altering the pressure measuring cell

7.1 Removing the pressure measuring cell

The pipe must be completely free from pressure to replace the pressure measuring cell.
Residual pressure on the pipe can cause the pressure measuring cell to pop out suddenly as
soon as the pressure measuring cell is released!
‣
In the case of toxic, explosive or flammable fluids, the pipe in which the pressure
measuring cell is installed must be rinsed or cleaned before the pressure measuring cell is
replaced!
‣
Before starting work, allow the pipe to cool down to a safe temperature.

Dispose of the O-ring.

If the O-ring catches on the
hose nut, remove the ring from
there and dispose of it!
