Installing the extension piece

When converting from the Promag 35S with hard rubber lining to the
Promag 55S with PU lining:
Do not use a seal between the sensor and extension piece!
• The extension piece is not lined.
• The extension piece must be mounted in the direction of flow and downstream from
the sensor on the outlet side.
• When installing the extension piece, make sure that the lining on the sensor flange is
not damaged.
• Use a seal with a thickness of 2 mm (0.079 in) between the pipe flange and the
extension piece.
• Ensure that the seals do not protrude into the pipe cross-section.
