10. Battery

Power source integrates a rechargeable battery to save programs and configurations. When the power
source is switched on, the battery is charging. If power source stays for too long (> 3 months) without being
switched on, battery may be empty. When you will switch it on with empty battery, it will automatically load
data from USB key (start will be longer than usual). This is why it is strongly recommended to regularly
export data from the screen to the USB key (cf §4.6) and to keep the USB key on the power source. Power
source can be used normally if battery empty, however if you add or modify a program, you will have to
export data from screen to USB key before switching off the power source. At the next switch on, data will
be automatically imported from USB key. This battery can not be changed without an important operation
inside power source: contact AXXAIR.

11. Environmental protection

AXXAIR packing materials are 100% recyclable. Worn out mechanical parts and electrical equipment
contain large quantities of valuable raw materials that can be recycled.
For European countries only: Do not discard electrical equipment with household waste! Pursuant to
Directive 2002/96/EC on the recovery and safe disposal of Waste and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and
transposition of the directive into national law, electronic equipment must be collected separately and
recycled in an environmentally safe manner.
