7.2. Possibilities offered by communication
Once communication is established, you can perform the following actions:
- Remote control of the generator with duplication of the screen via the "Proface Remote HMI"
application.
- Read and write access to the SAXX USB key.
Remote control :
- Install the "Proface Remote HMI" application: on the "Proface" site (http://www.proface.com),
download "Pro-face Remote HMI Client for Win" (https://www.proface.com/en/node/23751) and
then install it. It is possible to use it for 15 days for free. To be able to use it longer, you must
purchase a license. The Proface reference for a licence is: PFXEXRHCLS.
- Refer to § 6 "Wifi - Remote control" for the start-up and use of this application.
- It is then possible, through the computer, to control the SAXX exactly as if you were in front of it.
Read and write access to the SAXX USB key:

Open an explorer window and enter: "ftp://IP address of the SAXX"

This gives you access to the SAXX USB key. Depending on the system used, it may not always
be possible to open files directly. If this is the case, you must first copy the file locally to be able to
open it.

Refer to § 5 to know the usefulness of each file on the USB key.

Examples of possibilities offered by this function, from a computer:
o
Retrieve data acquisition files.
o
Monitor the alarms that have appeared.
o
Copy the configuration and programs from one generator to other generators
These tasks can be performed manually, or they can be automated with the use of an FTP client
application and possibly data mining programs.
