6. FIRST START-UP

6.1 Turning the device on/off

Turn the main switch on the back of the device to ON.
Press the Power/Mode button (1) to switch the device out of standby mode.
Hold the Power/Mode button (1) to switch the device off.
PLEASE NOTE!
If you would like to leave the device unused for a longer period of time, switch the mains connection on the
back of the device to OFF to completely remove the radio from the power.
Remove any batteries from the device if unused for a longer period.

6.2 Volume

Change the volume using the volume knob (11) on the device.

6.3 Changing operating mode

Press the MODE button on the device to switch between the following operating modes.
-DAB-FM-CD-USB-AUX-

6.4 Setting the date and time

Once a power supply has been established, the PBB 2's display will show '0:00'.
Proceed as follows to set the time:
1. Press the Preset button (3)
The display will show 'Set time'.
2. Enter the time (hours and minutes). To set hours and minutes, turn the Tune knob (9) and confirm
using the Select button (7).
3. Once you have set the time, you can now set the date in the same way.
PLEASE NOTE!
Date and time settings are lost if the device loses power or is turned off via the main switch on the back.
