10. USB OPERATION

10.1 USB mode

Press the Standby/Function button to switch on the PBB 2.
To begin playing files on a USB device connected to the radio, please proceed as follows:

To select USB mode, press the Mode button (1) until the display shows 'USB'.
If you have not yet connected a USB data carrier to the radio, the display will show
'NO USB'.
3.
Insert a USB data carrier into the USB port on the front of the radio.
4.
The USB drive will be read, then the available tracks will be shown on the display.
MP3 audio files can be played. The maximum data carrier size is 32GB.

10.2. Playing files from a USB

1.
To pause playback, press the Play/Pause/Select button (7).
Pressing it again will continue playback.
The number of the current track is shown on the display.
2.
Turn the Tune knob (9) to skip to the next/previous track.
3.
Pressing Stop/Sleep (8) will completely stop playback.

11. PLAYBACK VIA AUX

You can use this mode to play music from externally connected sources (e.g. MP3 player, mobile telephone)
via the speakers on the PBB 2.

11.1 Connecting external sources

Connect the external source via a 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX IN connection on the
IMPERIAL PBB 2 (cable not included)

11.2 AUX mode

1.
Press the Standby/Function button to switch on the PBB 2.
2.
To select AUX mode, press the Poer/Mode button (1) until the display shows 'AUX'.

11.3 Operation in AUX mode

1.
Start playback on the external device.
2.
You can only control the volume of playback in AUX mode by using the volume regulator (11).
All other functions are managed via the external device.
To access the System submenu, proceed as follows:
1.
Hold down the Menu/Info button (6) and use the Tune (9) knob to select [System].
2.
Press the Select button (7). You can then use the Tune knob (9) to select a system setting.
