12. SYSTEM SETTINGS

12.1 Sleep timer

The sleep timer automatically switches the radio to standby mode after the set time.
1. In the [System] submenu, use the Tune knob (9) to select [Sleep].
2. Press the Select button (7).
3. Use the Tune knob (9) to select a time after which the radio should turn off.
You can choose between 15, 30, 45, 60 and 90 minutes.
4. Press the Select button (7) to confirm the setting.

12.2 Date and time settings

12.2.1 Manually setting time/date
Depending on the time update setting (section 9.3.2), you may have to set the time and date manually.
1. In the [System] submenu, use the Tune knob (9) to select [Time] and press the Select button (7).
2. Use the Tune knob (9) to select [Set time/date] and press Select.
3. The first digits (hours) of the time will flash and can be changed by using the Tune knob (9).
The Tune > button increases the value while the <Tune button decreases it.
4. Press the Select button (7) to confirm the setting.
5. The next figures (minutes) will then blink and can be changed as already outlined.
6. After each further setting, press the Select button to jump to the next setting.
7. Proceed as described above to set the date.
8. Once all settings have been confirmed and the Select button has been pressed, [Time saved] will
appear in the display.
12.2.2 Automatic time update
In this submenu, you can specify whether the time is to be automatically updated via DAB+ or FM or entered
manually (section 9.3.1).
1. In the [System] submenu, use the Tune knob (9) to select [Time] and press the Select button (7).
2. Use the Tune knob (9) to select [Autom. update] and press Select.
3. Use the Tune knob (9) to select the following options:
[Update all] (updates via DAB+ and FM) [Update from DAB] (only updates via DAB+) [Update from
FM] (only updates via FM) [No update] (time/date must be entered manually, see point 9.3.1).

12.2.3 Set time format

You can activate the 12-hour or 24-hour format in the 'Set 12/24 hour clock' submenu.
1. In the Time submenu, use the Tune knob (9) to select [Set 12/24 hour clock] and press Select.
2. Use the Tune knob (9) to select one of the following options: [set 24 hour clock]
[set 12 hour clock]
3. To adopt the changes, press the Select button (7).

12.2.4 Setting the date format

You can set the displayed date format in the 'Set date format' Time submenu.
1. In the Time submenu, use the Tune knob (9) to select
[Set date format] and press Select.
