5. FIRST STEPS AND START-UP

5.1 Initial start-up and station scan

Connect the power unit with the socket
on the back of the radio.
Now plug the power supply unit into a wall
socket and switch on the radio using the
Power/Mode button. The device will briefly
switch on and then switch into standby mode.
The time continuously flashes at 00:00.
As soon as a complete radio
station scan has been carried out,
the time will be automatically synchronised.
Extract the telescopic antenna to
ensure maximum signal strength when
playing the radio.
Briefly press the Power Mode button
Your radio will turn on
and begin an automatic station scan
in the DAB+ reception range.
A progress bar displays the progress of the
station scan.
In addition to the scan's progress, the
number of stations discovered
during the scan is also shown.
As soon as the scan is finished, your
radio will select the first available station
and play it.
