2. Use the Tune knob (9) to select one of the following options:
[DD-MM-YYYY] (day, month, year)
[MM-DD-YYYY] (month,day, year)
3. To adopt the changes, press the Select button (7).

12.3 Display brightness

You can adjust the display brightness for both operation and standby mode (only available when the radio is
connected to mains power).
1. In the [System] submenu, use the Tune knob (9) to select [Lighting] and press the Select button.
2. Use the Tune knob (9) and press the Select button to choose one of the following options:
[On setting] controls the brightness when switched on in normal mode.
You can choose between [High], [Medium] and [Low] brightness.
3. Use the Tune knob (9) to select a brightness level and press the Select button (7) to save your
setting.
4. [Off timer] automatically dims the display after the set time to standby brightness.
When set to [Off], the display always remains active with the On setting.

12.4 Language

1. In the [System] submenu, use the Tune knob (9) to select [Language] and press the Select button (7).
2. Use the Tune knob (9) to select one of the available languages and press the Select button (7) to
confirm your selection.

12.5 Equaliser

You can adjust the sound of your radio.
1. In the [System] submenu, use the Tune knob (9) to select [Equaliser] and press the Select button (7).
2. Choose one of the preset sound settings. You can choose between normal, classic, jazz, pop, rock and
talk.
3. To set the bass and treble yourself, you can select 'My EQ' and use this menu to change the bass and
treble using multiple levels.
