Proceed as outlined below.
1) Unscrew the nuts (C).
2) Remove the casing (D).
3) Unscrew the nuts (A).
4) Remove the casing (B).
5) Use the tensioner (E) to slacken the chain.
6) Remove the chain from the tensioner.
7) Remove the joining link (F).
CAUTION
The tensioner could move unexpectedly, causing in-
jury to the hands.
Proceed with the utmost caution.
Replacing the gripper
Carry out the operations described.
1) Unscrew the nuts (A).
2) Remove the screw (B).
3) Remove the screw (C).
4) Remove the bushing (D).
5) Remove the gripper (E).
6) Remove the lever (F).
7) Set the new gripper into place.
8) Position the lever (F).
9) Position the bushing (D).
10) Insert the screw (C).
11) Insert the screw (B).
12) Tighten the nuts (A).

10) Fit the joining link (F).
11) Fit the chain on the tensioner.
NOTICE
Take special care to fit the link correctly and in the
direction indicated in the figure.
12) Position the casing (B).
13) Tighten the nuts (A).
14) Position the casing (D).
15) Tighten the nuts (C).

Remove the chain from the pinions.
Fit a new chain.
