5.1 Simulation

A simulation allows the functions of the electronic insert to be simulated and tested.

When simulation field V9H6 is enabled, the last process variable value is
automatically loaded in V9H7 field and applied to V0H0 (hold condition).
The V9H7 value can be manually modified to simulate the process variable.
Warning E613 appears in field V9H0 during simulation.

5.2 Fault codes

With the PV value a diagnostic code is sent on PROFIBUS-PA fieldbus, displayed in
matrix field V9H8. The displayed value may be a single fault code or a sum of single
codes.
E.g. code 5 is the sum of codes: 4 and 1.
The significance of each single code is shown in the table below.

0 No fault
1 Input failure
2 Input under-range
4 Input over-range
64 Cold junction error
128 Hardware error
5.3 Reset to factory setting
The TMD 834 allows two different resets:
• Code 7864:
Reset of all parameter to factory settings
• Code 333:
Reset of all parameter to factory settings, with the
exception of bus address.
These codes may be entered in field V9H5.
On reset to factory parameters (Code 333), values in the table below are assumed.
The values in the grey fields are retained to the customer setting.
