9. Seat:

The seat can be removed from the chair and placed on the
chair in either of two directions.
Releasing the seat:
Unscrew the star knob (2x). Place both hands on the front of
the seat and push the seat backwards in a straight line, all the
way to the back of the chair.
Tilt the seat up while making sure it continues to be pressed
in the back of the chair.

11. Footrests and calf rest:

The footrests support the feet of the client while sitting. When
the chair is tilted, the calf strap prevents the client's legs from
getting under the chair. To properly support the client, the
footrest and calf rest heights can be adjusted.
To adjust:
Unscrew the star knob (2x).
Slide the footrests to the desired height, making sure that
both footrests are at the same height. Tighten the star knob
(2x).

10. Installing and securing the seat:
Take hold of the seat with both hands and place it on the
chair at a slanting angle.
Push and tilt the seat back and down until it clicks into
position.
Lock the seat by tightening the star knob (2x) on
the thread under the seat.

12. Folding up and swivelling away the footrests:
To facilitate a transfer, the footrests can be folded up
and swivelled away. The footrest plate can be folded up
independently of the footrests.
Remove the foot from the plate and fold the plate
upwards.
To create extra space, remove the calf strap (fig. 13), lift
up the tube in the mounting block and swivel the foot-
rest outwards.
