General use

Product description:

The height adjustable tilting commode/shower chair is intended to enable safe and comfortable showering, washing, drying
and dressing. It can be wheeled over a toilet to use the toilet, but a bucket or a toilet pan can also be used for this.
The armrests serve various purposes, including offering support when sitting down and standing up; and they can be
folded up individually to enable lateral transfers. The headrest also supports the head when the chair is tilted. The footrests
support the feet, but they can be folded, swivelled away and removed for transfers. The seat can be removed to enable it to
be reversed, cleaned and replaced. The height adjustable tilting commode/ shower chair can be adjusted to a comfortable
working height for the carer, either electrically or hydraulically.

Target group:

Clients/People who need care and support while showering, going to the toilet and/or during other personal care activities.
A seating facility offers a stable basic posture for the provision of care by third parties. The height adjustment and tilting
functions of this chair enable carers to put their clients in the right posture in a way that is pleasant and ergonomically sound
for both the client and the carer. This makes the care activities easier for both the client and the carer.

General warnings:

When not using the chair to transport a user, the castors should be rotated outwards and locked.
When folding down the armrest, do not hold the chair between the back of the armrest and the backrest of the chair as this
might bring the risk of injury due to hands and fingers being trapped.
Only use the chair on a flat surface.
Only remove or relocate the toilet pan / bucket when the user is not in the chair.
Do not place the chair in direct sunlight as this might cause the surface of the seat or the backrest to become very hot.
