e) Main boom

1. M1 → thread through holes → fasten to sail eyelet as shown. Slide M1 to make adjustments if needed.
2. M4 → M5 → fasten to eyelet as shown. Slide M4 and M5 to make adjustments if needed.
3. Use the included hex key to adjust the length of the compression strut. This can be used to ease or tighten the
back edge of the sail if neeed.

Note
• Take the slack out of the cord but do
not over tighten.
• The mast should point straight up
without bending.
1. Cut a length of cordage: approx. 100 cm
2. Loop the bottom around the hook at the
stern.
3. Thread the top through the backstay crane
eyelet then tie off as shown.
