Switching the machine on and off

To switch on:
While holding with the left hand on the column and the
right hand on the main handle, first press the Power But-
ton to energize the tool, then press the Motor On/Off but-
ton to start the tool. Anticipate and be ready for the start
up torque when the machine first starts.
To switch off:
Press the Power Button. After the machine has been
switched off, the sanding disc will still rotate for a time.
Take care that parts of your body do not come into contact
with the disc and do not set the machine down while it is
still rotating!

ADJUSTING THE ROTATION SPEED

The speed of the machine is variable to suit different tas-
ks. It can be adjusted from 1.000/min bis 1.600/min by
pressing the „Up" and „Down" Speed Selector Buttons.
Press „Up" to increase the speed and „Down" to decrease
the speed. The selected setting will appear on the indi-
cator screen. Generally, you should use higher speeds for
fast stock removal and lower speeds for more precise con-
trol.
Flap to open the suction hood for sanding
close to the edge
The suction hood is equipped with a hinged side, allow-
ing the operator to work on edges or corners. The suction
hood can also be rotated to allow positioning of the hin-
ged side at any angle.
To open, first switch off the machine and disconnect it
from the power supply. Then press the fold-up side down
until it clicks into place. It then folds up due to its spring
force. Folding in occurs in reverse order.
Dust extraction is not ideal if the side is open. It should
therefore be folded back in immediately if it no longer
needs to be open.
HOW TO USE THE TOOL
Effective control of this powerful saw requires two-han-
ded operation for maximum safety and control. The pro-
per hold is to keep one hand on the main handle and the
other hand on the sponge grip on the column. It is vitally
important to keep stable footing at all times, especially
when standing on scaffolding or stilts.
