Regional programme mode
Some stations transmit regional programmes at certain times. In the regional
programme mode, the radio cannot switch to a frequency that is being
broadcast by another regional programme.
To switch the regional programme mode on or off, hold down the AF
button for more than two seconds. "REG" appears in the display.
TA – Traffic announcement
„ " ("Traffic Announcement") is the traffic announcement mode. If the

station transmits RDS signals and provides traffic announcement, the
activated TA function will immediately switch from other operating modes
(e. G. CD) to the radio when traffic announcements are being broadcast.
During traffic announcements, the volume level is increased if its was too low
before.
Stations that broadcast traffic announcements are identified by "TP" in the
display.
Press the TA button to switch the TA function on or off. In the traffic
announcement mode you will see "TA" in the display when a station with
traffic announcement is available. „TA" will flash when no traffic
announcement station is available.
During the traffic announcement, "TRAFFIC" is lit continuously.
You can interrupt the radio if it switches from the CD/MP3 mode, the USB
mode or from a station without traffic announcement to a station with
traffic announcement. To do so, briefly press the TA button. The TA
function is now paused without the TA mode being switched off. The
display shows XXXXXXX.
Press TA again to hide this display.
If the TA function is activated, you can only find or store stations that
broadcast a traffic announcement signal during the station search.
