cleaning or the filter is too heavily
soiled, it must be replaced.
1. Remove the dust bin (1), and
remove the filter housing (37),
as described in Section
"Emptying the dust bin" on
page EN-23.

2. Remove the filter housing cov-
er (38).
3. Take off the filter cover (40)
and remove the filter (39).
4. Wash the filter (39) and the
filter cover (40) under running
water.
5. Allow the filter (39) and the
filter cover (40) to dry com-
pletely.
6. Put the filter (39) and the filter
cover (40) and the filter hous-
ing cover (38) back into the
filter housing (37) as described
in Section "Emptying the dust
bin" on page EN-23.
7. Close the filter hous-
ing (37) again and reinsert the
dust bin (1).

"Service" on page EN-32).

Cleaning the dust bin

We recommend cleaning
(37)
the dust bin every time the
fi lter and fi lter cover are also
cleaned.
1. Remove the dust bin (1) from
the appliance as described in
Section "Emptying the dust
bin" on page EN-23.
2. Fold up the dust bin's (37) filter
housing (1).
3. Take off the filter housing cov-
er (38) and the filter cover (40)
and remove the filter (39) as
described in Section "Cleaning
the filter" on page EN-23.
