Safety
Never use the robot vacu-
■
um in rooms with burning
candles or lamps on the
fl oor.
Do not let the robot vac-
■
uum drive over in-ground
luminaires. Damage or fi re
can occur if the robot vac-
uum gets stuck on a lumi-
naire.
Dangers of batteries!
Improper use of batteries
can lead to fi re, explosion,
poisoning, serious injuries
and damage.
If swallowed, batteries can
■
be life-threatening. For this
reason, keep the batteries
out of the reach of young
children. Seek medical at-
tention immediately if
you suspect that a battery
has been swallowed or ac-
cessed the body in another
manner.
Immediately remove a
■
dead battery from the bat-
tery compartment. Oth-
erwise, it can leak. If a
battery has leaked, avoid
contact with skin, eyes and
mucous membranes. In
the event of contact with
battery acid, immediately
fl ush the applicable areas
with plenty of clean water
and consult a physician im-
mediately.
Do not throw the batteries
■
in fi re. They can explode or
produce toxic fumes.
To prevent a battery from
■
leaking, do not charge,
take apart or short-circuit
the batteries.
Do not expose batteries to
■
extreme temperatures (e.g.
heaters or direct sunlight).
Only use batteries of the
■
same power (see "Tech-
nical specifi cations" on
page EN-35).
Do not use old and new
■
batteries together.
There is a high risk of fi re
■
with old lithium batteries.
Before disposing of these
batteries, tape off the
poles to prevent an exter-
nal short circuit.
Before disposing of the ap-
■
pliance, remove and dis-
pose of batteries and re-
chargeable batteries which
are not permanently built
into the appliance.
