4. Installing the HEYNER® MaxiFIX AERO into your car
4.1. Installation with ISOFIX
By connecting the ISOFIX system to the vehicle, you increase the safety of
your child. Continue to strap your child in with the 3-pointvehicle-belt of
your vehicle.
Check the Isofix guides regularly and clean away any dirt, dust or food
particles as they may effect the safety of the system.
Turn the ISOFIX arms 180 ° and unfold the ISOFIX system.
You hear a clear >> CLICK<<sound.
Check the safety indicators (IT). These must both be RED. If the safety
indicators (red) are not visible, press the green release tabs until you hear
an audible << CLICK >>.
The ISOFIX mounting points are located between the seat and the backrest of the car seat.
Use the vehicle type list of your manufacturer to check which vehicle seats are suitable for
child car seats.

Now put the two ISOFIX terminals (IK) on to the
ISOFIX anchors (IA) in the car and click them into
place until you hear a << CLICK >>.
Only a proper fixing of BOTH TERMINALS ensures
that the seat is secured properly and offers full
protection to your child in the car!!!
Please check once more, if the child car seat is
securely fixed onto the seat.
Place your child in the HEYNER®MaxiFix AERO+
child car seat. Let the shoulder strap of the vehicle
run through the belt guide slot. The shoulder strap
should run in the middle of the shoulder to ensure
an optimal belt path.
Now run the lap belt (W) with the lock tongue (V)
under the armrests of the child car seat towards the
three-point belt buckle and secure the lock tongue
(V) from the three-point belt of the vehicle into the
three-point belt buckle with an audible << CLICK >>.
If necessary, use the vehicle's belt height adjuster to
correspond to your child's height. Please check the
belt-run at least every six months and adjust the
backrest to the new size of your growing child. Make
sure that the lap belt runs under the fixation lugs (C) on both sides and that the diagonal belt
leads only under the fixation lugs (C) on the side of the belt buckle (Q).
4.2.Securing the HEYNER® MaxiFIX AERO with the three-point belt of your car
The seat can be used on all approved seats of your
vehicle fitted with a Three-point belt. For best
protection, use the child car seat seats preferably
on the back seats. The seat must NOT be placed in
the middle rear seat as it only has a lap belt!
Place your child in the HEYNER® MaxiFIX AERO child
car seat.
