Installation in a
cold room
If the refrigerator/freezer is to stand in a
room where the temperature can be less
than 16°C (e.g. in an unheated part of a
building), problems might arise if the appli-
ance has only one compressor and one
thermostat.
The temperature sensor will register a tem-
perature that is sufficiently low and therefo-
re no further cold output will be produced
for the refrigeration compartment. This
means that the freezing compartment will
not be cold enough either and there is a
risk of frozen items in the cabinet thawing
out.
You can change over
the door yourself
Illustration
to change the door from right-hinged to
left-hinged, or vice versa.
On models with a tabletop, take off the
tabletop as follows:
Loosen the four screws
screwdriver. The tabletop can now be
drawn out of its frame
can be loosened by removing the two front
screws with a key
net on its back with the front upwards.
Take off the door handle
the opposite side.
With a screwdriver, remove the support
rails from under the cabinet.
To remove the door, first take out the screw
caps and then the screws

Move the hinges
diagonally (top right hinge to bottom left
corner and bottom right hinge to top left
corner).
When refitting the door, a 9 mm filler (wood

net front and door edge to create sufficient
space for the sealing strip.
Remember to place the correct number of
washers under the bottom hinge to ensure
that the door is at the correct height.
Refit the support rails and put the cabinet
in place.
Once the cabinet has been placed in its
correct position, the hinges may need
readjustment. The elongated holes in the
hinges make this adjustment possible, so
that the sealing strips give optimum sea-
ling all the way round the door.
Changing over a freezer lid
Take out the screw caps

Remove the lid. Take out hinge pin
a pair of pliers and fit it into the opposite
side of the lid.
Turn the lid round and put into place. Refit
the hinge pin

Electrical connection

Connection to electricity
The cabinet is intended for connection to
alternating current. The connection values
for voltage (V) and frequency (Hz) are
given on the nameplate placed in the cabi-

net.
Power must be connected via a wall
socket with a switch. The wall socket
should be easily accessible.
All earthing requirements stipulated by
local electricity authority must be obser-
ved. The cabinet plug and wall socket
should then give correct earthing. If in
doubt, approach your supplier or authori-
zed electrician.
