The EPSILON 5 is a superb wing for lengthy thermal fl ights. Due to its

Pre-delivery inspection
Before supplying your canopy your sales agent should make a gene-
ral test fl ight and set the brakes and speed system controls. There
should be a minimum of 8 cm free play between the brakes released
position and the start of action on the canopy. This will prevent the
trailing edge from being deformed when using the speed system. It is
better to have long brake lines and to fl y with a loop around the hand.
Flight characteristics
We advise you to gradually become familiar with your canopy by ini-
tially fl ying in calm conditions on a site that you are experienced with.
Before each fl ight make a thorough pre-fl ight inspection, checking
for any tears, tangling of the suspension lines, risers, all quick links
and the harness.
A few practise infl ations in easy conditions will strengthen your trust
in the handling of the EPSILON 5 from the outset. Please fl y the gli-
der within its limits and avoid extreme situations.
Take off
The line geometry of the EPSILON 5 allows a quick and easy sorting
of the lines. The wing is suited to forward and reverse infl ations.
