Prior to any diode test ensure that the diode to be test-
ed is not live. Failure to comply with this prescription
can lead to injuries or instrument damage. Additionally,
foreign voltages falsify the measurement result.
Resistors or semiconductor paths located in parallel
to the diode falsify the measurement result.
