Changing the door hinge

If necessary, you can change the door hinge
of your refrigerator. This procedure requires
manual dexterity. Please read through the
following work steps completely before
beginning work.
You need the following tools:
– PH2 Phillips screwdriver
– 8 mm wrench
Changing the door hinge of the
refrigerator door
1. Ensure that the appliance is not
connected to the power supply.
2. Close the door.
3. Unscrew the metal strip from the
refrigerator. To do this, use a Phillips
screwdriver.
4. Loosen the screws from the upper
hinge using an 8 mm wrench and
remove the hinge.
5. Unscrew the hinge pin from the hinge.
Rotate the hinge by 180°. Re-insert
the hinge pin into the hinge.
6. Lift up the door while pulling it out of
the lower hinge pin and put it aside.
7. Insert the lower hinge pin on the
opposite side and re-insert the door.
8. Close the door.

9. Unscrew the screw (15) with a Phillips
screwdriver and screw it back in on the
opposite side.
