INTENDED USE
This device is used in conjunction with an endoscope to spray the
gastrointestinal mucosa.
NOTES
Do not use this device for any purpose other than the stated intended use.
Store in a dry location, away from temperature extremes.
Use of this device is restricted to a trained healthcare professional.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Those specific to ERCP or primary endoscopic procedure to be performed
in gaining access to the desired procedure site.
WARNINGS
This device is designed for single use only. Attempts to reprocess,
resterilize, and/or reuse may lead to device failure and/or transmission
of disease.
If the package is opened or damaged when received, do not use.
Visually inspect with particular attention to kinks, bends and breaks. If an
abnormality is detected that would prohibit proper working condition, do
not use. Please notify Cook for return authorization.
POTENTIAL COMPLICATIONS
Those associated with gastrointestinal endoscopy include, but are not
limited to: perforation, hemorrhage, aspiration, fever, infection, allergic
reaction to spray solution/media, hypotension, respiratory depression or
arrest, cardiac arrhythmia or arrest.
PRECAUTION
Refer to the package label for the minimum channel size required for
this device.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Gently advance the stylet completely into the spray catheter and lock
the stylet cap into the catheter fitting.
2. Introduce the spray catheter into the accessory channel of the
endoscope and advance in short increments until the device is
endoscopically visualized exiting the scope.
3. Advance the spray catheter to the procedure site.
4. Using a syringe, inject into the catheter to spray the surrounding
gastrointestinal mucosa.
Upon completion of the procedure, dispose of the device per
institutional guidelines for biohazardous medical waste.
