Decoding of the SC/LB settings (low nibble):
0: Lead Break + Short Circuit Check (LB and SC checks are activated)
1: Lead Break Check (LB check is activated)
2: Short Circuit Check (SC check is activated)
3: No Check (lead check is deactivated)
Decoding of the settling time settings(high nibble)
0: 1s (default)
1: 250ms
2: 500ms
3: 2s
4: 3s
5: 4s
6: 5s
For the remaining modules (including the empty modules) the configuration byte have
the following content:

The maximum length of the parameterization string is 15 bytes. For modules, for which
no parameterization byte had been transmitted (they can be only located at the end of
the parameterization string), the lead check is deactivated.
For sensors, that have been configurated as empty modules, the lead check is deacti-
vated independent of the content of the parameterization byte belonging to them.
The lead checks are deactivated for all channels even if the slave is not involved in the
cyclical user data exchange.
