CLEANING ThE CARTRIDGE FILTER
The cartridge filter utilizes a polyester element able to ensure optimum water filtration capacity .
The total area of the filtration surface amounts to 7 square metres . The filter element can be
washed periodically to restore its normal efficiency .
When a new system is first started up, make a note of
the reading given by the pressure gauge on top of the
filter .
The filter element must be cleaned/replaced:
- when the pressure indicated by the gauge exceeds the
value first recorded (newly installed system) by 0 .7 bar
- whenever pressure
circumstances .
Set the control panel switch to the "STOP" position;
failure to observe this general rule can result in serious
damage to the system and invalidate the warranty .
Close the valve on the inlet side of the filter pump
(installed by the contractor) .
Release any excess pressure by opening the vent valve
located on the filter .
Remove the drain plug (5) at the bottom of the filter
housing and allow the water to run off .
