Hot End Replacement Step by Step
1. Loosen the screw in the sensor plate (u) with a 2mm hex key. Remove the
sensor.
2. Remove both heating elements (r).
3. Loosen the fixing screw (t) with a 4mm hex key (accessible via the access hole
(q) in the filament cooling duct).
4. Pull the hot end out of the extruder.
Mounting the Hot End
Push the hot end into the extruder until it stops. Please note that the hot end can
only be installed in one orientation, controlled by the pin/hole alignment (see Fig.
7-9).
Tighten the fixing screw (t). Now mount the heating elements (r) and the sensor
plate (u).
Then mount the extruder on the printer as described above.

The heating elements might jam when heated. Never attempt to
remove the elements by force. If necessary, push the elements out
through the back using a hex key.
