3.3. Graphical User Interface

The Graphical User Interface (GUI – referred to as the interface below) designates
the interface for controlling the BigRep ONE, and provides the user with import-
ant information from the printer. The interface is operated via the device's touch-
screen (R).

3.4. Slicing Software

The slicing software enables you to generate a digital 3D model of the object you
would like to print. The slicing software transforms this model into data for the
printer, i.e. provides a code for the printer. The slicing software is not part of the
scope of delivery. For the slicing software, the General Terms and Conditions of
the respective manufacturer apply.
We recommend using the slicing program Simplify3D [www.simplify3d.com].
Please use the configuration file authorized by BigRep for set-up. It contains all re-
levant default settings. You can also obtain the configuration file via the customer
portal.
Note
The manufacturer will not assume any liability for damages caused by incor-
rect configuration of the slicing software. Please only use configuration files
authorized by BigRep.

ding the suitability of individual slicing software.
