2.1. Explanation of Safety Symbols

DANGER
This warning indicates an imminently hazardous situation. Nonobservance
will result in severe injuries or death.
WARNING

CAUTION
This warning indicates a potentially hazardous situation that may result in
moderate or light injuries.
Important information calling for special attention. (Risk of material material
damage will occur if precautions are not taken).
This warning indicates hazardous electric voltage.
This warning indicates head-level obstacles.

2.2. Safety Instructions

Intended Use

The BigRep One is intended for manufacturing three-dimensional printed ma-
terials from authorized filament. The models for the components that are to be
manufactured are created on the computer with the aid of a specialist slicing soft-
ware.
A three-dimensional object is created from the transmitted data by layering mel-
ted filament (extrudate). (Additive manufacturing — FFF: Fused Filament Fabrica-
tion).
The use of unsuitable filament can lead to negative printing results and im-
purities or damages to the printer as well as printer failure.
The printer may only be used for additive manufacturing — FFF
