will show again the preset synergic program figures after 6
seconds from the last modification.
POT1: Potentiometer.
It works only in the MIG/MAG modality.
In the MANUAL program it allows to adjust the wire speed.
In the SYNERGIC programs it allows the adjustment of the
synergic curve (voltage/power on their respective displays);
by holding the torch button it is possible to visualize the
preset wire speed. Six seconds after the last potentiometer
adjustment, the D1 display will show again the welding
power figure while the D2 display will show the selected
program number.
S1: GAS TEST button.
This button allows the flow of gas from the regulator.
S2: WIRE EXTENSION button.
By pressing this button the wire extension for the torch
insertion is initiated; the extension has a fixed speed of
15m/min.
S3: WELDING PARAMETERS selection button:
Enabled only in the MIG/MAG and TIG modalities.
MIG/MAG Modality:
By holding the S3 button for 2 seconds you open the
welding programs sub-menu. A P0 manual welding
program and some synergic programs for the most
common kinds of wire are available; the table on the side of
the EURO plug shows all the available programs.
By rotating the E1 encoder the program number and the
name of the material to be welded are visualized on the D1
and D2 displays. Press the S3 button to confirm your
choice or the visualized program will be automatically
memorized after three seconds from the last encoder
modification.

The diagram shows the MIG/MAG parameters that can be
clockwise selected by pressing the S3 key; all the lights are
usually off, one diagram led turns on at each pressure of
the S3 key confirming the visualization of that parameter;
light automatically turn off three seconds after the last
parameter modification. After a parameter has been
selected, rotate the E1 encoder to change the figure and
the new one will be automatically saved.

SYNERGIC PROGRAMS
In the welding procedure through SYNERGIC programs,
the MOTOR SLOPE, BURN-BACK and ELECTRONIC
INDUCTANCE values, are supplied by the constructor as
optimum values (shown on the D2 display as 0), with an
option for possible correction (+ or -) by the user by means
of the E1 encoder; the correction values depend on the
synergic curve and the preset welding power.
In all the SYNERGIC programs it is possible to adjust the
welding power value by r3V from the synergic value. The
selected voltage value gap is shown on the D2 display.
The SYNERGIC programmes for STAINLESS STEEL (P.7
and P.8) are obtained using 316 type steel, if other types of
steel are used, welding parameters are to be modified.
It is advisable to keep the preset constructor values.
TIG modality:
The diagram illustrates the TIG welding parameters that
can be clockwise selected by pressing the S3 key; all the
lights are usually off, one diagram light turns on at each
pressure of the S3 key confirming the visualization of that
parameter; three seconds after the last parameter
modification, the L11 welding power light automatically
turns on. Primary parameters may be directly selected by
pressing the S3 button; some secondary parameters may
be selected from a sub-menu that can be opened by
holding the S3 button for 2 seconds. After a parameter has
been selected, rotate the encoder to change the figure and
the new one will be automatically saved.
L11: Welding current.
