4 Operating mode

The operation and use of the counter are described in this section.
● As soon as the power supply has been switched on, the counter
is automatically set to the operating mode.
- the current counter status can be read and reset;
- the input preset value can be read and changed, provided this is
enabled in the programming mode (line 5);
- the scaling factor can be read and changed, provided this is enabled
in the programming mode (line 5);
All the parameters can be disabled in the programming mode.
Current count
After the counter has been turned on or upon selection via key
the current counter status is displayed in the operating mode.
➜ Read the counter status display.
Reset Resetting must be enabled in the programming mode (line 6).

Functions relating to the preset value must be enabled in the pro-
gramming mode (line 5).
