• Turn a screw (not part of the delivery) into the desired spot on
the wall. Let the screw head protrude approx. 5 mm out of the
wall.
• Hang the weather station on the wall. Make sure it hangs
securely before letting go.

An ideal installation site for the thermal hygro outdoor sensor is an exterior wall below
a roof protrusion, which protects it from direct sunlight and other external weather con-
ditions. Use the provided screws to attach the wall mount. Then insert the thermal
hygro outdoor sensor into the holder and secure both components with the provided
screw. Make sure that the connection cables of the wind and rain sensor are correctly
plugged into the corresponding sockets of the thermal hygro outdoor sensor. This pre-
vents transmission errors. Then slide the rain protection over the sensor.
The rain sensor
For best results, the rain sensor should be installed on a level surface approx. 1 m
above the ground. The installation site must be located in free terrain without
obstruction by trees or other obstacles so that the rain can fall freely and result in
accurate measuring values. Make sure that the rain does not collect in the casing
and flow off. (Test this by carefully pouring in clean water).
