6.4. Spectrum Analyzer
The spectrum analyzer is used for graphic representation of the frequencies over the entire
bandwidth of the received signal. This can help when it is not known at what frequency a
signal can be found. Use the arrow keys ◄Left/Right► to navigate to any frequency peak
and there start a targeted signal search.
Select the desired function to represent the spectrum analysis, by open the DVB-S/S2
menu and then press the <F2>-button to start the spectrum analyzer. The following menu
will be shown:
1) Press the red "0 / 22K" button to activate the 22kHz switching.
2) Press the green <H/V> key to activate the 13/18V switch for the horizontal /
vertical control.
3) Press the ◄Left/Right► keys to cycle through the frequencies and select a
desired frequency. Confirm your selection with the OK button to perform a search
for a signal at the selected frequency peak.
4) Press the <AN/DG> key to set the start and stop frequencies for the spectrum
analysis. You can enter the parameters using the numeric keypad:
