Network operation (linked operation)

Network operation means that several Doorguards can be operated in a network. Example for this is the use in
a head office or for the porter to remote control the doors. For the remote single indication of up to 16 Doorgu-
ard hardwired version systems, a display module can be used as a remote indicating panel (master/slave
operation) mentioned in Chapter 1.2. One device in this linked operation must be set to master. This master
takes over the control function within this network.
Networking is only possible between the individual Doorguard hardwired version devices and one
remote indicator panel!

Connection between the devices

In network operation all Doorguards are connected together via a BUS system and connected to a remote
indicating panel. Route wires between the Doorguard hardwired version device and the remote indicating panel
as shown below.
For voltage operation of the remote indicating panel (max. 70 mA, voltage ca. 18 V DC, open-circuit
voltage) one of any power supplies of the Doorguard hardwired version can be used.
