General

Range of application

The version of the Doorguard hardwired version monitors the opening of emergency exit doors and can be
installed on site. The operating unit and alarm signalling device can be installed separately or in combination so
that installation can be carried out according to the requirements of the premises or application in question.
Due to the integrated power supply unit, the on-site supply voltage required is 230 V AC / 50 Hz.
The door contacts (opening contacts) trigger the alarm at the doors that require monitoring. If an unauthorized
person opens the emergency exit door a local acoustical and optical alarm is triggered immediately.
If the emergency exit door requires opening for an authorized person, monitoring can be deactivated by
release (De-activated doorguard). The green LED "Operating state" at the operating unit of the Doorguard
hardwired version indicates the release of the emergency exit door.
Several Doorguards can be operated also in a network, i.e. in networked operation. Example for this is the use
in a head office or for the porter to remote control the doors. For the remote single indication of up to 16 Door-
guard hardwired version systems, a display module can be used as a remote indicating panel (master/slave
operation). For voltage operation of the display module one of the power supplies of the Doorguard hardwired
version can be used.

- a 16 DG disable and display module (Item no. 012542.17) as operating and display panel.
! Option: Potential free outputs (Switching voltages up to 230 V AC) can be made available with
DUO Relay Modules, realization with item no. 010120.17, or item no. 010131.
