CAUTION
Risk of falling as a result of wear. Visible wear of the locking mechanism
may affect the patient's safety. Replace the respective lock bale and/or
locking plate or bolt, as necessary.
Notice
The function and condition of this orthosis should be checked regularly at
individually determined intervals.
When replacing the lock bale, the 501A23 Lock Screw should be replaced,
as well. The lock bale must be fitted in after installation. Only the lock bale
should be adapted, not the locking plate's hardened surface.

The manufacturer will not assume liability for damage caused by disregard
of this document, particularly due to improper use or unauthorised modi-
fication of the product.
3.2 CE conformity
This product meets the requirements of the European Directive 93 / 42 / EEC
for medical devices. This product has been classified as a class I device
according to the classification criteria outlined in Annex IX of the directive.
The declaration of conformity was therefore created by the manufacturer
with sole responsibility according to Annex VII of the directive.
