Seal replacement
Discoloration of the seal does not affect it's function. However, depending on the frequency of use, the seal should
be changed every one or two years. If it is damaged, brittled or deformed, the seal must be replaced immediately.
CAUTION: Do not use for exchange only original spare parts. The use of seals of a different manufacturer is not
possible. If you have any questions, contact your dealer.
If the pressure cooker is not working properly during operation, take it off the heat and cool in cold running
water to reduce the pressure. Only operate the pressure cooker again if you have found and corrected the
error source.
Error
The pressure regulating
valve is noisy and does
not steam after the
pressure cooker was
heated.
Vapor or liquid flows out
from the safety valve.
Vapor flows out under
the lid.
What shall we do if the steam leaks out from the gap between the pressure cooker and the lid?
• lt may because that the lock ring is broken or the lid is not well locked.
• If the lock ring is wore out, please change it.
• If the lock ring is too dirty, please clean it.

Troubleshooting

Possible fault
The valve is clogged.
The blast pipe is clogged.
Dryburn or to less water in the pressu-
re cooker .
Unequal cooking plate.
The blast pipe is clogged.
To much food in the pressure cooker.
The head supply is too high.
Protection valve or pressure valve
doen not work correctly.
Seal ring is not properly placed.
Damaged seal.
Protection valve is clogged.
Lid is not closed properly.
Solution
Clean the valve.
Clean the blast pipe.
Turn off the energy, take the pressure
cooker off the cooker and wait till
the pressure has been reduced. Then
check the water level.
Place the pressure cooker on an equal
and stable plate.
Clean the blast pipe.
Reduce the amount of food.
Reduce the head supply
Clean the valves according to the
cleaning instructuions, described in
this manual.
Place the seal properly.
Change the seal.
Clean the protection valve.
Close the lid properly.
