CAUTION
Risk of injury! Never put a pressure cooker under pressure into a kitchen sink that is filled with
water. Don't use force to open the lid, before the red stop valve pin has decreased.
Tips and Hints on Cooking
• Let frozen food defrost before cooking it. Beans and dried fruits should be soaked before cooking. Let foa-
ming food first boil without lid and close the lid after skimming.
• With a pressure cooker, you need less water to boil and steam, because the water loss is very small, if you
do not steam the food too long.
• High-pressure steam may cause the foods to loose some color. Use colored spices to make the food look
tasty and delicious after cooking.
• Reduce the power supply when soup runs out.
General Hints on Cleaning
• Each time after using the pressure cooker; please clean it by hot water or the scouring agent, and don't use
frictional scouring agent.
• Do not clean the lid or the sealing plate in the dish washing machine. Besides, the sealing plate cannot be
cleaned by the scour either.
• Dry the pressure cooker and the lid in the air after cleaning. Turn the lid over when drying it. Please do not
keep the pressure cooker and the lid separately.
• If you use the pressure cooker frequently, please clean all the valves as often as you can, especially after
cooking foods that foam, such as sugar steam fruit, noodle, sweet milk rice etc.
Protection Valve Cleaning
After unlocking the two blocking lid and lid handles linking screws
and blast pipe nut of the pressure governor valve, please remove
the pressure governor valve, then remove the blast pipe and the
pressure governor valve pedestal, and remove the lid handles,
then you can remove the governor valve screw and wash the
governor valve.
Pressure Valve Cleaning
The pressure valve includes two parts: one is the blast pipe, which
is fixed on the pressure governor valve; the other is the metal
weight inside the pressure valve. The way to unlock the pressure
valve is the same to the protection valve.
You can use a metal stick to clean the dirt in the blast pipe. When you are cleaning pres-
sure valve, you have to unlock the fasten device (clip), and take out the metal weight,
then clean all parts thoroughly. You can complete all the maintenance and operation by
