Hints on Use
• If you use the pressure cooker frequently, please clean all the valves as often as you can, especially after
cooking foods that foam, such as sugar steam fruit, noodle, sweet milk rice etc.
• The pressure cooker cannot be heated without liquid inside. Do not exceed the l/2 full level of the pressure
cooker when cooking foods that foam. Please shake the pressure cooker gently before removing the lid
when cooking pasty food.
Locking the lid
Before locking the lid please check to see that the
pressure cooker is in good working order, clean the
pressure valve aperture, and the protection valve can-
not be blocked.
Put the lid on the pressure cooker and let the arrow on
the lid handle and the arrow on the pressure cooker
handle being aligned. Then press the lid gently until
the two handles are aligned.
Lock the lid by rotating it gently, until the lid hand-
le and the pressure cooker handle are aligned. Now
your pressure cooker is locked and you can have the
pressure you want by turning the pressure valve.
Cooking and Pressure Build-Up
Start Cooking We suggest, when start cooking, use high heat (the heating source), because in this way we can estab-
lish the desired pressure. When the steam is discharging from the air vent, the pressure inside the pressure cooker is
high enough. Then you can reduce the (the heating source), in order to keep the pressure and prevent too much air
form discharging.
Pressure decrease and unlocking the Lid
Open the lid hold the lid handle, and pour the running water on the
pressure cooker until no more steam is discharging form the air vent.
(see picture).
Then the red core in the lid handle will drop. Make sure there is no
pressure inside the pressure cooker, and remove the lid by shaking
it gently. Do not put the pressure cooker that still has pressure inside
into a pool with water! Do not remove the lid with a rush!
