11.5. Feuchtigkeit in der Apparatur
Sollte Wasserdampf o.a. in der Apparatur
die Ursache dafur sein, daB der erwartete
Druck nicht erreicht wird, so hilft hier der
Betrieb mit geoffnetem Gasballastventil.
11.5. Moisture in the system
If moisture in the system is responsable
for the pump not attaining the expected
vacuum, this can be remedied by operat-
ing with gas ballast valve open.

tourner la pompe robinet de lest d'air

Wirft die Pumpe Ol aus, so ist in den
meisten Fallen zuyiel Ol in die Pumpe
eingefullt worden. Olstand prufen gemal3
Abschnitt 9.1. Ein weiterer Grund fur zu
hohen Olverbrauch kann durch die Ver-
schmutzung der eingebauten Filter-Pa-
trone (11) gegeben sein.
Durch sehr starke Verschmutzung kann
sich die Filter-Patrone (11) zusetzen. Der
dadurch in der Filter-Patrone auftretende
Uberdruck bewirkt, daB diese sich von
ihrem Sitz abhebt und den Auspuff durch
Umgehung der Filter-Patrone freigibt.
11.6. Oil ejection of pump
(see Fig. 1)
If the pump ejects oil, this may be due to
the pump being overfilled with oil. Check
oil level according to section 9.1. The
contamination of the built-in filter cartri-
dge (11) may also be the cause of exces-
sive oil consumption.
If this contamination is excessive, the fil-
ter cartridge may clog up. This will create
an overpressure in the cartridge, which
will push it slightly from its seat, so that the
filter cartridge is bypassed by the exhau-
sted gases towards the outlet.
11.6. La pompe crache de I'huile

Si la pompe crache de I'huile, c'est parce
que, dans la plupart des cas, on en a trop
mis. Controlez alors le niveau d'huile com-
me decrit a 9.1. Une autre cause de con-
sommation anormale d'huile peut resulter
de I'encrassement de la cartouche filtran-
te (11) incorporee a la pompe.
Si cet encrassement est trop fort, le filtre
peut etre completement bouche. La sur-
pression en resultant a I'interieur du filtre
souleve la cartouche de son siege et
I'echappement devient alors libre.
