not attempt to measure voltages higher than 1000 V or 750 V rms although
readings may be obtained.
Be extremely careful when measuring high voltages!
3. Functional Overview
This section describes the features, controls and displays of the multimeter.
3.1 Switches
3.1.1 Rotary Function Switch (20)
Allows you to select the individual measuring parameters and ranges.
3.1.2 POWER Switch (15)
To switch on and off the digital multimeter.
3.1.3 Hold Function Button HOLD (19)
Freezes the current reading on the display (display "H" (6)). Press the "HOLD"
button again to continue the current measurement.
3.2 Measuring Inputs
3.2.1 20 A Input (17)
For measuring current of up to 20 A. Turn the rotary function switch (20) to the
20 A position.
3.2.2 mA Socket (16)
1. Connection for measuring current up to 200 mA.
2. Connection for the short Cx test lead (black, -).
3.2.3 V/Ω... Socket
1. Plus connection for all types of measurements except for measuring current.
2. Connection for the supplied temperature probe (red).
3. Connection for the short Cx test lead (red, +).
