Allowable environmental conditions
Clean the product after contact with humidity/chemicals/solids, in order to
avoid increased wear and damage (see Page 18).
Prohibited environmental conditions
Solids: highly hygroscopic particles (e.g. talcum), dust in high concentrations
(e.g. construction site), intensive contact with sand
Chemicals/liquids: salt water, perspiration, urine, acids, continuous use in liquid
media

2.4 Service life

This product has been tested by the manufacturer with 2 million load cycles
according to ISO 22675. Depending on the patient's activity level, this cor­
responds to a service life of 2 to 3 years.
