Attaching the knuckle eye
S Screw the correct adapter (dependent on nominal force!; see Chapter 3) to
U5 (taking screw length into account)
S Turn the lock nut back as far as the eye
S Screw the knuckle eye into the adapter as far as the stop
S Unscrew knuckle eye 1 to 2 turns and align
S Load eye with nominal load
S Tighten lock nut (M
CAUTION
When locking with the lock nut, under no circumstances let the torque be trans­
mitted through the transducer.
