Mains switch, mains input
• Connect the mains cable supplied to the input.
• Connect mains cable to an earthed (grounded)wall
socket.
Immediately after switching on, the unit carries out a
self-test.
Treatment head connections A and B
• Connect the treatment heads to connections A and B.
Choice of therapy mode
• Select continuous or pulsed ultrasound.
The selection is indicated on the LED.
Treatment time
• Select the treatment time.
Intensity
• Select treatment head A or B.
• Select display in W/cm
• Set intensity/power.
The display will flash until adequate contact is made.
Starting treatment
• Position the treatment head (do not forget to apply gel).
• When adequate contact is made, the timer will start.
The contact indicator LED's on the treatment head are no
longer lit. The display shows the actual intensity or power.
Ending treatment
Treatment can be stopped by removing the treatment head
from the patient and setting the timer to zero.
Treatment stops automatically when the treatment time has
elapsed.
