7. Getting started

7.1 Aligning the movement sensor

Make sure there are no movements which are not to be detected within the detection range of
the movement sensor (5) (e.g. pavements, roads).
The best time to set the light sensitivity for the movement sensor (5) is when the lighting conditions
are the same as they will be when the LED sensor is active.
We recommend you twist the sensor housing (4) to easily adjust the "TIME" (11), "SENS" (12)
and "LUX" (13) controllers. Please also note the illustration [C] on the cover page.
 Adjust the movement sensor (5) so it covers the area you want as best possible. It must not be blocked
by objects or the like.
 You can align the movement sensor (5) horizontally by twisting the sensor housing (4).

7.2 Adjusting the light time (TIME)

You can adjust the light time using the TIME controller (11) on the sensor housing (4) (approx. 1 min. to
15 min.). Turn the TIME controller (11) clockwise (towards the +) to increase the light time and
anticlockwise (towards the -) to reduce the light time.

7.3 Adjusting the sensor sensitivity (SENS)

You can adjust the sensitivity using the SENS controller (12) on the sensor housing (4). Turn the SENS
controller (12) clockwise (towards the +) to increase the sensitivity and anticlockwise (towards the -) to
reduce the sensitivity. The higher the sensitivity, the larger the range (12 m maximum).

7.4 Adjusting the light sensitivity (LUX)

You can adjust the light sensitivity using the LUX controller (13) on the sensor housing (4). This allows you
to define the light conditions in which the lighting sensor reacts and the LED emitter switches on or off.
Turn the LUX controller (13) clockwise (direction
