e) USB Interface
The „Charge Manager 2024" has a USB interface on the rear of the device (USB-B socket) to transfer the data to a
PC or laptop with a Windows operating system (at least Windows 7 required).
The required software can be downloaded free of charge and always up to date on the respective website of the
„Charge Manager 2024" under www.conrad.com. This permits comfortable starting, monitoring, recording and
evaluating of care programmes.
f) Data Recording on an SD/SDHC Memory Card
The charger can save charging data from the rechargeable batteries in CSV format on a SD/SDHC memory card
(max. capacity 32GB). The SD/SDHC memory card used must be formatted in file system FAT16 (also called FAT)
or FAT32.
We recommend using a memory card with a capacity below 8GB.
No particularly fast memory cards (e.g. „CLASS 10") are needed, since they are only used for higher data
rates, such as video records.
The memory card generally can only be initialised while no rechargeable batteries are inserted.
One new file is set up per programme start in the previously selected directory (e.g. in the directory „CM_LOG01",
file „S3_LOG02.CSV", with „S3" for chute 3 and „LOG02" for the second recorded charging process).
Up to 25 directories can be generated and up to 99 charging processes per chute can be stored in one
directory (see chapter 13. a).
Note:
• Deleting data from an already-formatted SD/SDHC memory card is not required.
• While the charger is in power saving mode, the wheel encoder must be operated to recognise an SD/SDHC
memory card.
• Selection of a directory is only possible when there is no rechargeable battery in the charger.
• For further steps (e.g. rechargeable battery holder), you need to choose a directory.
• The SD/SDHC memory card must not be taken out during operation; otherwise, there is the risk of data loss or
defect at the memory card! Removal is possible at all times via „OPTIONS", „RELEASE SD" and confirmation with
„CONFIRM". The recorded data are retained.
• Removal safe for the SD/SDHC memory card is possible with the following displays:
„OPTIONS: SD:STOPPED"
„EXISTS! CHOOSE OTHER"
„CONFIRM THIS FOLDER"
„INSERT CELL TO START"
• During maintenance charge „TRICKLE", there will be no recording made on the SD/SDHC memory card.
• Recordings or directories can only be deleted at the PC.
